Committee for Social Development Meeting - 06 November 2014

The Committee for Social Development met on Thursday 6 November 2014 at 10.00am in Room 29 Parliament Buildings.

The Committee initially met in closed session to consider legal and process issues in relation to its current Inquiry. The Committee resumed in public session to hear evidence from Mr Michael Sands and Mr Peter Cooke in relation to its Inquiry into allegations, arising from a BBC NI Spotlight programme aired on 3 July 2013, of impropriety or irregularity relating to NIHE managed contracts and consideration of any resulting actions.

The Committee also received a briefing from the Department of Social Development on the introduction of the Pensions Bill.
