Committee for Social Development Meeting - 05 June 2014
The Committee for Social Development met at 10.00am on Thursday 5 June in Room 29, Parliament Buildings when it was briefed by officials representing the Department for Social Development (DSD) on the Regeneration and Housing Bill, Housing (Anti-Social) Behaviour Bill and Building Successful Communities Programme.
The Committee then took evidence from the Chair of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) Board and the Chair of the NIHE Audit Committee on its Inquiry into allegations, arising from a BBC NI Spotlight programme aired on 3 July 2013, of impropriety or irregularity relating to NIHE managed contracts and consideration of any resulting actions.
