The meeting began in closed session, after which the Committee took evidence on its Inquiry into allegations, arising from a BBC NI Spotlight programme aired on 3 July 2013, of impropriety or irregularity relating to Northern Ireland Housing Executive managed contracts and consideration of any resulting actions.
The Committee heard evidence on the Inquiry from the Minister for Social Development, Nelson McCausland, the Minister's Special Adviser Stephen Brimstone, and Department of Social Development Permanent Secretary Will Haire and representatives from Turkingtons.
