Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister

The Committee was established to advise and assist the First Minister and the deputy First Minister on matters within their responsibilities as Ministers. The Committee undertakes a scrutiny, policy development and consultation role with respect to the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister and plays a key role in the consideration and development of legislation.

The Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister held its last meeting on 16 March 2016. The majority of the functions of the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister transferred to the newly formed Executive Office. A new Committee for the Executive Office was established on 25 May 2016.
