Committee for Finance and Personnel Meeting - 19 November 2014
The Committee for Finance and Personnel met on Wednesday 19 November 2014 at 10:00am in Room 30, Parliament Buildings when the Committee firstly undertook a budget scrutiny preparation workshop in closed session.
Moving into open session the Committee then received a number of briefings from Departmental officials on the Draft Budget 2015/16; firstly on the Departmental Spending Plan, secondly on Preventative Spending and Invest to Save measures and thirdly on Public Service Pension Scheme Provisions.
The Committee then considered 2 Legislative Consent Motions including the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Bill. Finally members considered items of Subordinate legislation in relation to Public Service Pension Schemes.
