Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment - 18 November 2014
The Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment met on Tuesday 18 November 2014 at 10:00am in Room 29, Parliament Buildings, when the Committee was briefed by the Committee's Economic Adviser, Dr Leslie Budd. The Committee was then briefed by Professor Neil Gibson of the Northern Ireland Centre for Economic Policy on forecast reports for the economy.
The Committee considered its Report on the Legislative Consent Memorandum for the Deregulation Bill and an SL1 on the Energy Efficiency Directive.
The Committee then considered: a written briefing from the Department on Mineral Prospecting Licenses Awarded to Metallum Exploration Ltd; the Oireachtas National Statement on Entrepreneurship in Ireland; and the Committee's Report 'Electricity Policy Review, Part III, Grid Connections'.
