1. Apologies

1.1 Apologies were noted from Mr Gerry Kelly, Mr Pat Ramsey and Mrs Karen McKevitt. The Speaker welcomed Mr Joe Byrne as the SDLP substitute.

2. Finalisation of the Order Paper for the plenary meetings on Monday 8 July

Private Members' Business

2.1 The Speaker advised Members that he had received a valid notice under Standing Order 11 that the Assembly should meet today to discuss the motion on the 'Call for an Inquiry into Allegations of Wrongful Political Interference in the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Potential Breaches of the Ministerial Code of Conduct and Misleading the Assembly and the Committee for Social Development' (Mr R Swann, Ms C Ruane, Mr S Dickson, Mr M Durkan).

2.2 Members agreed that the Assembly should reconvene at noon on Monday 8 July to debate the motion, and agreed the Order Paper.

2.3 The Speaker advised that two Amendments to the motion had been accepted, and the impact that this would have on the potential number of contributions from Members during the debate was noted. Members agreed that 2 hours and 15 minutes would be allocated to the debate, with the usual speaking times, including 20 minutes for the Minister to respond.

3. Request to exchange Question Time slots

3.1 The Speaker advised Members that he had received correspondence from the Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment requesting an exchange of Question Time slots on Tuesday 17 September with the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety on Tuesday 24 September; and again on Monday 8 October, with the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety on Tuesday 15 October.

3.2 Members approved both requests, and noted that a revised Oral Question Rota would be issued.

The Speaker brought the meeting to a close at 10.11am.
