The Committee agreed to hold the meeting in closed session.
The meeting opened at 12.11 p.m. in closed session.

Northern Ireland Water – Re-apportionment of Costs.
Departmental Officials John Mills and Andrew Grieve joined the meeting at 12.29 p.m.
John McCallister left the meeting at 12.15 p.m.
John McCallister rejoined the meeting at 12.31 p.m.
Officials of the Department of Regional Development briefed the Committee and answered Members’ questions on the re-apportionment of costs by Northern Ireland Water.
Raymond McCartney left the meeting at 1.05 p.m.
John Mills and Andrew Grieve left the meeting at 1.25 p.m.
Victor Hewitt, Economic Research Institute of Northern Ireland, joined the meeting at 1.25 p.m.
Victor Hewitt, ERINI, briefed the Committee and answered Members’ questions on the re-apportionment of costs by Northern Ireland Water.
John Dallat left the meeting at 1.34 p.m.
William Irwin left the meeting at 1.35 p.m.
The Committee requested further information from Mr Hewitt.
Victor Hewitt left the meeting at 1.41 p.m.
The Committee decided to request briefing from Northern Ireland Water executives and from the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation at their meeting on 27 February 2008.
The Committee agreed to seek additional information to that tabled today.
