The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is currently reviewing its existing corporate support systems – financial management, human resources, payroll and procurement. At present, these are standalone systems, with little integration. Existing software contracts are nearing the end of their contract period, thus providing the opportunity to look at alternative solutions which can deliver the needs of the Assembly Commission in a more efficient and effective way.
There is a Project Team in place, who will lead the project and will examine and refine the current systems and processes to ensure optimal efficiency whilst meeting the business need.
At this stage, the Assembly Commission is seeking to procure consultancy support services to provide strategic and operational support to the Project Team. They will use the consultancy support services to help identify potential solutions in the market, help prepare to tender for a suitable solution(s) and to support and advise on the implementation of the system(s) / solution(s).
The Assembly Commission is seeking to appoint a supplier who has recent and relevant experience in reviewing, revising and advising on corporate system solutions, both at strategical and operational levels. They should also be able to advise and support all stages of the project from conception and business case preparation, through procurement stages and into implementation phases.
