Equality Scheme 2022 - 2026

Under Schedule 9 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is required to submit an Equality Scheme to the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.  An Equality Scheme is a statement of a public authority’s commitment to fulfilling its Section 75 statutory duties, setting out how it is going to ensure that equality and good relations are promoted in everything it does.

The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission’s Equality Scheme for the 2022-26 period was agreed by the Equality Commission in February 2023.
