Older People's Parliament 2026

The Older People’s Parliament is returning for 2026.

The Northern Ireland Assembly represents and makes laws for everyone who lives here. It is important that everyone has an opportunity to have their say on issues that matter to them.

One of the ways we do this is through the Outreach Parliaments, which provide a platform for relevant sectors to engage directly with decision-makers and raise issues of concern.

The Older People’s Parliament is back for 2026, taking place on 15 October 2026 in Parliament Buildings.

How to watch the Parliament

The Parliament will be live streamed from 1.30pm on Thursday 15 October 2026 and can be viewed here.

A replay of the Older People's Parliament will be available to watch online from Monday 19 October 2026.

If you would like to watch the Older People’s Parliament in-person, you can apply for tickets by completing the following survey:

Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note there is a limit of four tickets per person. If you have been successful in your request, we will be in contact to confirm your tickets.

The survey will close once we have reached full capacity and all tickets have been allocated.

Please note - we have space for a limited number of wheelchairs in the Public Gallery on the first floor, which overlooks the Assembly Chamber.
