The Independent Remuneration Board (the Board) is a new body to be set up by the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (the Assembly Commission) for the purpose of determining the salaries and pensions of the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The Board is a statutory independent body and consists of a Chairperson and two other Members who will be appointed for a term of five years.
