Energy Consumption

In the graph below you can see monthly figures for the total energy (gas and electricity combined) consumed by Parliament Buildings from April 2007 to 31 March 2019 in kw/h. Carbon Emissions

Waste and Recycling

The Assembly Commission is committed to sustainable development and the monitoring of our environmental impact (view our Environmental Policy Statement). On average, Parliament Buildings produces around 10,000 Kgs of waste per month. A yearly breakdown of the waste produced and recycled, from the 2010-11 financial year until the end of the 2018-2019 financial year, can be found in the graphs below.
