Transforming Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland – Services and Governance

Synopsis: This briefing paper aims to provide the new Health Committee with an overview of a number of issues from the 2011-16 Committee’s legacy report. It focuses on key aspects of health and social care reform in Northern Ireland over the past decade or so, including the 20-year strategy for primary care; ‘Transforming Your Care’ (TYC); the Donaldson Report; and the recently established expert panel, chaired by Professor Bengoa.
