Guide to being a Committee Witness

This training course, developed for people who will be coming to Assembly Committees to give evidence. This course has been developed based on feedback from previous Committee witnesses and will provide practical information about the Committee witness experience.  It will cover the following topics:

  • How to prepare for giving evidence;
  • What to expect when you attend a Committee meeting as a witness;
  • How to get the most from the opportunity to present to an Assembly Committee. 

 

Where:

The Committee Witness Training will take part in Parliament Buildings.

 

When:

Sessions will start at 9.30am and finish no later than 12pm. An optional tour of Parliament Buildings will be provided. To find out when the next event or training session will be held, please refer to our calendar.

 

How:

Not able to travel to Parliament Buildings? The Outreach Team will also touch on all of these topics when it brings the Assembly and its work to your local Community through the ‘Get Involved’ programme.
