Assembly to Take Part in Marie Curie National Day of Reflection

The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Alex Maskey MLA has agreed that the Assembly will observe a minute’s silence on Tuesday 23 March 2021, as part of the Marie Curie National Day of Reflection.

The Assembly will suspend briefly at 11.50am, followed by a minute’s silence at noon to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown in the UK and to allow MLAs to recognise all those who have lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
