Portrait of the former deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness unveiled in Parliament Buildings

The Speaker will host the unveiling of the official Assembly portrait of the former deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness on Thursday 22 March 2018, at 12:00pm (noon) in the Great Hall, Parliament Buildings. 

The portrait was commissioned by the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission and was painted by Belfast artist Tony Bell. The portrait will be exhibited in the Great Hall until Friday 6 April 2018, when it will be moved to a permanent location on the first floor of Parliament Buildings.

Please note that photography and filming will be permitted at this event.
