Synopsis: At its meeting on Wednesday 12 March 2014, the Assembly Committee for Education will hold its final evidence session as part of its Inquiry into the Education and Training Inspectorate and School Improvement.

At its meeting on Wednesday 12 March 2014, the Assembly Committee for Education will hold its final evidence session as part of its Inquiry into the Education and Training Inspectorate and School Improvement. Members will hear from Mrs Noelle Buick, Chief Inspector of the Education and Training Inspectorate.
The Committee will highlight issues raised by witnesses including: the reported rundown of school support services; proposals to reorganise ETI - giving it statutory independence; improving communications with parents; and introducing fairer school inspection reporting practices.
