Agriculture Committee Motion on Farming Crisis

The Assembly Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development has tabled a motion in the Assembly Chamber for debate on Monday 08 October. The motion will call on the Minister for Agriculture to acknowledge the current crisis in farming arising out of lack of transparency in the food supply chain, world markets and weather conditions and identify initiatives to help alleviate pressures on farmers as soon as possible.
