Committee for Justice Meeting - 10 September 2014

The Committee for Justice met on 10 September when it was briefed by departmental officials on draft amendments to the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Further Provisions and Support for Victims) Bill following the Department of Justice's consultation on strengthening Northern Ireland's response to human trafficking and slavery.

The Committee was also briefed by departmental officials and a representative from the Policing Board on the outcome of the consultation and proposed way forward on the Review of the Code of Practice on the Appointment of Independent Members to Policing and Community Safety Partnerships and District Policing and Community Safety Partnerships.
