Committee for Education Meeting - 03 June 2015
The Committee for Education met on Wednesday 3 June 2015 at 9:30am in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings.
Members received a briefing from the Education and Training Inspectorate on its review of the statutory Area of Learning in the primary curriculum relating to science, geography and history which is entitled:’The World Around Us’.
The Committee also received a Departmental briefing on the June Monitoring Round.
As part of the ongoing Committee Stage of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Bill, the Committee also heard evidence from the Children with Disabilities Strategic Alliance.
