In attendance at 11:00am for a presentation on the Arts Council of Northern Ireland's five year Arts Plan 2001-2006 'The Arts' - The Arts Council - Prof. Brian Walker, Chairman, Ms Eilis Ó Baoill, Vice Chairperson, Ms Roisin McDonough, Chief Executive, Mr Philip Hammond, Director of Performing Arts, Ms Noirin McKinney, Director of Creative Arts and Ms Lorraine McDowell, Acting Director of Lottery.

The meeting opened, in private, at 11:00am.

1. Arts Council 5-Year Arts Plan

1.1. The Committee received a presentation outlining the priorities and strategic objectives for the Arts Council's 5-year arts plan 2001-2006, which was followed by a question and answer session.

2. Date of next meeting

2.1. The next meeting of the Committee will take place at 10:15am on Thursday 11 October 2001 in Room 152.
