APN 241 - 22/27: APG on Loneliness and APG on Ageing and Older People / APG on Autism

ALL PARTY GROUP ON LONELINESS AND ALL PARTY GROUP ON AGEING AND OLDER PEOPLE

A joint meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Loneliness and APG on Ageing and Older People has been arranged to take place on Monday 26th February at 1.30 – 2.30pm in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings. Tea and coffee will be available from 1.15pm.

All Members are welcome to attend.

The agenda will focus on the need for a loneliness strategy in NI. Members will hear from a number of organisations delivering work that tackles loneliness among older people and an analysis of how this work reflects the recommendations for a loneliness strategy set out in the 2020 report, Loneliness in Northern Ireland: A Call to Action, produced by the Campaign to End Loneliness in collaboration with the NI Action Group on Loneliness Policy. Members will also have an opportunity for questions and discussion.

An invitation will be emailed separately to each APG member and on request to any other MLAs who wish to attend.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON AUTISM

A meeting to elect office bearers to the All-Party Group on Autism has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 13th February 2024 at 1pm in room 21.

This meeting will be to elect a new Chairperson as Pam Cameron MLA has resigned from this role.
