APN 54 - 16/21: 'Lend a hand' to Support Anti-Bullying Week 2016

Anti-Bullying Week 2016 is taking place between 14th-18th November 2016.  The Assembly Education Committee and the Education Service have designed an art project to promote Anti-Bullying Week 2016 and to support the Anti-Bullying Forum’s message of ‘Together We Are Stronger’.

All MLAs are invited to ‘lend a hand’ and show their support for Anti-Bullying Week by contributing to the artwork.  A large branded board will be in the Great Hall each day next week (Monday 14th – Friday 18th November) between 1.00-2.00pm.

Members are invited to sign a handprint and stick it to the board. Members can use the pre-cut hand prints available, or trace and cut their own – a selection of coloured card will be available.

Pupils and children who are participating in the Education Service programmes during Anti-Bullying Week will also be taking part in the art project.

The Communications Office will be filming and taking photographs of the board as it is populated throughout the week.  The footage and photographs will be issued to the media and shared on the Assembly’s social media networks.
