All Party Group on Science and Technology
A meeting of the All Party Group on Science & Technology has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 10 September from 5.00pm to 6.00pm in Room 29. Refreshments will be served from 4.30pm.
Following this meeting the All-Party Group on Science and Technology will hold a debate on food allergy in the Senate Chamber from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Tea and coffee will be served from 6pm outside the Senate Chamber.
The following topics will be discussed:
- “Oral Immunotherapy Study - what does it hold for the future?” - Dr Andrew Clark, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge;
- “Personal reflections on the Oral Immunotherapy Study” – Lorcan Maneely;
- “The impact of food allergy on children, families and society” - Maureen Paul, Chief Executive Allergy NI; and
- “Safefood for people with allergies – can it be done in the catering sector?” - Michael Walker, safefood Food Allergy & Food Intolerance Network.
