Presentation of G8 Summit Communique / North South Ministerial Council Meetings

PRESENTATION OF G8 YOUTH SUMMIT COMMUNIQUE

The G8 Youth summit organised by The Fermanagh Trust was attended by 100 young people from Fermanagh, across Northern Ireland and the border counties. The communiqué has brought forward four key themes: healthcare, equality, poverty, peace.

The group will present their communiqué to the Northern Ireland Assembly on Tuesday 2 July at 3.00pm in the Great Hall.

NORTH SOUTH MINISTERIAL COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Speaker received notification from the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in accordance with section 52A (1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (as amended), that the following meetings were held in Armagh on 26 June 2013:

• North South Ministerial Council meeting in Tourism sectoral format; and
• North South Ministerial Council meeting in Trade and Business sectoral format.

The following Executive Ministers will be in attendance at both meetings:

Minister Foster MLA; and
Minister O’Dowd MLA.
