Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“FOIA”)

I am writing to confirm that the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (Assembly Commission) has processed your request dated 31 May 2022 in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In your request, you asked:

“I am writing to you pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I would be grateful if you would confirm if the Climate Change (No. 2) Bill which passed its final stage on 8 March 2022 has been granted Royal Assent and if not, whether it has been referred to the Supreme Court.”

The Assembly Commission is not required to provide this information as it is exempt as per section 21 Information Accessible by Other Means.
