I can confirm that the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (Assembly Commission) holds information relevant to your request of 06 January 2021. In your request you asked for the following information:

“1. The first date in which the National Assembly of Northern Ireland became a member of Stonewall UK Diversity Champions Programme and confirm if you are still a member.

The Assembly Commission is a member of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme, which it joined in January 2019.

 

2. The amount of membership fees paid to Stonewall UK since joining their Diversity program.

The annual membership fee is £2,500 plus VAT; to date, the Assembly Commission has paid £5,000 plus VAT in membership fees.  

 

3. Benefits received by the National Assembly of Northern Ireland from this Membership.”

The Diversity Champions Programme provides tailored one-to-one support to organisations to help build LGBT-inclusive workplaces and works closely with businesses to understand their specific needs and objectives, and provide tailored guidance to support them on their path to shaping a workplace that is truly inclusive.
