What are News Feeds?
News feeds (often referred to as 'RSS', Really Simple Syndication) allow you to see when websites have added new content and by subscribing to our feeds you will be kept up-to-date with all the latest news from the Northern Ireland Assembly.
How do I subscribe to news feeds?
Using a program, called an RSS reader, you can subscribe to our news feeds. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different types of programmes available, but they all fall into these categories: desktop applications; online readers and browser based. Internet Explorer 7 and above has inbuilt support for RSS feeds, but there are many other services available.
To subscribe to our feeds, simply click on the orange button which will give you the option of subscribing to our feeds in various ways, including by dragging the URL of the feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.
