1. Under Paragraph (3) of the Assembly Members (Salaries and Expenses) Determination (Northern Ireland) 2016, the figures in Table 1 increase by £500 on 1 April each year if the inflation criterion is satisfied. Where the consumer prices index for the September of the previous year must be 1% or greater.
