Committee to Bring Together Key Players at Research and Development Event

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment will host an event on 12 November at Parliament Buildings on developing the Northern Ireland economy through innovation, research and development.
The event will feature speakers including senior academics and industrialists, as well as guests who are working at the forefront of high technology business.
Speakers at the event include: Dr. Mike Short CBE, President of The Institution of Engineering and Technology; Prof. Jim McLaughlin OBE, Director Engineering Research Institute, University of Ulster; Prof. James C McElnay, Pro Vice Chancellor of Research, Queen’s University Belfast; Dr. Steve Brankinm, CEO, Asidua; Steve Thomson, Schrader Electronics Ltd.
