Committee to Hear from Lidl on Fairer Deal for Farmers

The Assembly Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development will receive a briefing from the supermarket chain Lidl at its next meeting on Tuesday 24 November 2015.
Members will question representatives from Lidl on a range of issues to include payment policies and credit terms, the role and remit of the Grocery Code Adjudicator, labelling issues and the purchasing of local produce. The briefing will take place at approximately 1pm.
The Committee will also take evidence from a range of Stakeholders on the Rural Needs Bill
