Assembly Holds Reception To Mark Five Years Of Bursary Programme
Synopsis: The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Mr William Hay MLA will host a reception in Parliament Buildings to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Assembly’s Bursary programme.

The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Mr William Hay MLA will host a reception in Parliament Buildings to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Assembly’s Bursary programme, which is organised in conjunction with Queen’s University. The event will also mark the completion of this year’s Bursary students’ placement in the Assembly.

Time: 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Venue: Room 115
Students will give short, informal presentations on their work during their placement, their themed reports and dissertations.
The event will also mark the contribution of Professor Rick Wilford, Director of Legislative Studies and Practice at Queen’s, and pioneer of the Bursary programme, who is retiring at the end of this academic year.
