Work to Parliament Buildings During Summer 2012 Recess

During the Summer Recess 2012, work will be undertaken to the front of Parliament Buildings to install access ramps for people with mobility issues. When completed, this work will provide a better experience for people visiting the Assembly.
Access to the front door will still be possible throughout the construction works and there will be access to the lawns, plug-in points and door in the curtilage.
The work will start on 9 July and is due for completion by the end of October. Filming outside Parliament Buildings will still be possible but everyone should be aware that there may be some extra noise and hoardings will be erected at the front of the building during the installation.
