Assembly Launches Summer 2012 Tours of Parliament Buildings

The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Mr William Hay MLA, will launch the Summer 2012 tours of Parliament Buildings on Monday 18 June 2012 at 5.00pm in the Great Hall, Parliament Buildings.

This year the theme of the Summer Tours is ‘Make a Day of It’ as visitors will be urged to make use of the Stormont Estate when they come to see Parliament Buildings.

The Summer 2012 tours will showcase the Assembly Chamber, Great Hall and Senate Chamber along with the historic Library and Committee rooms. Tour guides will bring the building to life with stories about the history and architecture of Northern Ireland’s most iconic buildings.

The tours are free and will run on the hour every hour from 10.00am – 3.00pm, Monday - Friday through July and August.
