The Education Bill (NIA 3/08) passed its First Stage.

The Assembly agreed that The Pensions (No. 2) Bill (NIA 2/08) should proceed under the accelerated passage procedure. The motion was carried with cross-community support.

The Pensions (No. 2) (NIA 2/08) Bill passed its Second Stage.

Private Members’ Business

The Assembly debated the motion on the “Construction Industry”. The motion, as amended, was carried.

The motion on “Carbon Neutrality of the Northern Ireland Assembly” was not moved.
