ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE
TAXIS BILL
PUBLIC CONSULTATION
The Northern Ireland Assembly’s Committee for the Environment will be considering the Taxis Bill during September and October. The purpose of the Bill is to create a new legal framework for taxi regulation in Northern Ireland. Any organisation or individual who may have an interest in the proposed Bill is invited to submit written evidence to the Committee by 6 August 2007. The evidence should be restricted to suggestions for possible amendments to the Bill or to opposition to specific clauses.
