Enterprise, Trade and Investment Committee
Welcome to the Home Page of the Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment. The committee was established to advise and assist the Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, Ms Arlene Foster MLA, on matters within her responsibility as a Minister. The committee undertakes a scrutiny, policy development and consultation role with respect to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and plays a key role in the consideration and development of legislation.

Latest News
- The Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment will receive an Oral briefing on the Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) Scheme from Michael Kidd, Head of Business Banking and Alan Bridle, Senior Economist, Bank of Ireland. A further briefing on the EFG Scheme will be provided by Kevin Kingston, General Manager Corporate Business and Markets, Northern Bank.
- The Committee will also consider written briefings on the Departmental (draft) Tourism Strategy and on the Health and Safety Executive Draft Operating Plan.
- Following the ETI Committee Meeting on Thursday 18 March, Members will take part in a live video conference link up with “A” Level Business Studies students from Lurgan College. This is the first meeting of its kind and provides a unique opportunity for members to engage with young people who have an interest in the work and remit of the committee. Students and members will also partake in a Q & A session.
