CULTURE, ARTS AND LEISURE COMMITTEEWelcome to the Home Page of the Committee for Culture, Arts and Leisure. The committee was established to advise and assist the Minister for Culture, Arts and Leisure, Nelson McCausland MLA, on matters within his responsibility as a Minister. The committee undertakes a scrutiny, policy development and consultation role with respect to the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure and plays a key role in the consideration and development of legislation. Latest NewsThe Committee continues its inquiry into low levels of adult participation levels in sport and physical activity. A focus group conference will be held to gather views of over 30 delegates and a video conferencing session will also take place with representatives from Finland. |
