This instrument amends retained European Union legislation relating to the common organisation of agricultural markets (“Common Market Organisation” or “CMO”). 

This instrument will address operability issues created by the United Kingdom leaving the EU. This instrument will ensure that the CMO can continue to operate effectively after EU Exit.  It will also make minor amendments to retained EU law relating to support for rural development and the maritime and fisheries fund. This is to address operability issues created by EU Exit and ensures that the retained EU law can continue to operate effectively in a UK context.
