Assembly Bursary Programme Welcomes First US Fulbright Scholar

The Clerk/Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Assembly Mr Trevor Reaney hosted a reception in Parliament Buildings earlier this week to welcome this year’s intake of Assembly Bursary students, which for the first time in the programme’s history will include a US Fulbright Scholar.

Joint Communique from the Fourth Plenary of the North/South Inter-Parliamentary Association

The North/South Inter-Parliamentary Association (NSIPA) which comprises of representatives from all the main political parties of the Northern Ireland Assembly and Houses of the Oireachtas, held its fourth Plenary in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings on the 4th April 2014.

Local Children Deck The Great Hall With Festive Cheer

Christmas came early to Parliament Buildings today (Monday 25 November) when the winner and shortlisted entrants to the Northern Ireland Assembly Christmas Card competition gathered in the Great Hall to receive their awards from the Speaker and Principal Deputy Speaker.
