The meeting commenced at 12.48p.m. in closed session.

1.      Apologies.

Apologies as above.

2.       Procedures of sub-committee.  

The Chairperson advised members of the procedures for sub-committees under standing orders.  

The Chairperson advised members that the terms of reference for the sub-committee is the appointment of a specialist adviser to the Committee on Budget 2011-2015.

3.       Timetable

Members considered and agreed a timetable for the appointment of a specialist adviser.

4.       Consideration of documentation.

Members considered the draft tender pack including the terms of reference and invitation to tender.

Members also considered a select tender list provided by Assembly Research Services.

Agreed: The sub-committee agreed to make a recommendation to the full Committee that it should issue the tender pack as drafted to the people on the select tender list.

5.      Date, time and place of the next meeting.

The next meeting of the sub-committee will take place on Tuesday 28 February 2012 at 12.30 p.m. in Parliament Buildings.

The Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 1.23 p.m.
