The meeting began in public session at 12.32p.m.
The Chairperson informed members that the BBC and UTV had asked to film proceedings at the meeting.
Agreed: That the BBC and UTV are allowed to film proceedings.

2. Departmental briefing on planning policy and operational issues.
Planning Service officials briefed the Committee and answered members’ questions on planning policy and operational issues.
Agreed: That the Department provides the Committee with further information in relation to the number of planning applications approved by District Offices, or on appeal, that refer particularly to social housing in conjunction with a housing association that have been agreed and the benefits that were actually delivered.
Agreed: That the Department also provides the Committee with information on whether the applications are for social housing in their entirety or as a percentage of an overall development.
3. Date, time and place of next meeting
The next meeting will be held on Thursday 25 March 2010 at 10.00a.m in Room 144, Parliament Buildings.
The Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 2.14p.m
