Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment Meeting - 09 June 2015
The Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment met on Tuesday 9 June 2015 at 10.00am in Room 29, Parliament Buildings. The meeting began in public session with a briefing from the Department and NISRA on Tourism Statistics.
Following the briefing the Committee considered SR 2015/254 The Biocidal Products (Fees and Charges) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015. The Committee then considered a response from the Department in relation to the regulation of Insolvency Practitioners and a written briefing providing a six month update on the delivery of Northern Ireland Innovation strategy.
The Committee also considered a written briefing from Invest NI on Export Statistics and Exports Action plan. The Committee then moved into closed session to consider its report on the Inquiry into Growing the Economy and Creating Jobs in a Reduced Tax Environment. NISRA also briefed the committee on the inquiry.
