1. Introduction

1.1 The Speaker thanked Members for attending the meeting at short notice.

2. Scheduling the resumption of the Consideration Stage of the Planning Bill on Tuesday 25 June 2013

2.1 The Speaker reminded Members that, due to a petition of concern being tabled to Amendments 21 and 23, proceedings on the Consideration Stage of the Planning Bill had been halted on Monday evening following the vote on Amendment 20.

The Speaker went on to advise that the remainder of the Stage must be rescheduled, and that the Minister of the Environment was content for it to be resumed on the conclusion of the Second Stage of the Licensing of Pavement Cafés Bill. 2.2 In relation to the impact of the additional business on the length of the sitting, Members agreed to dispense with the normal lunchtime suspension to allow business to continue uninterrupted. Whips also undertook to consider with their parties what scope there might be to keep the number of speakers to a reasonable level.

2.3 Mr Rogers advised that the relevant Ministers would be content with the approach of sitting over lunchtime.

2.4 The draft revised Order Paper was agreed, along with the revised indicative timings.
