1. Apologies

1.1 Apologies were noted from Lord Morrow, Ms CaitrĂ­ona Ruane and Mrs Karen McKevitt.

2. Finalisation of the Order Paper for the plenary meeting on Tuesday 16 July

Private Members' Business

2.1 The Speaker advised Members that he had received a valid notice under Standing Order 11 that the Assembly should meet today to discuss the motion on the 'Determination of Parades Commission' (Mr P Robinson, Mr N McCausland, Mr G Campbell, Mr S Wilson).

2.2 Members agreed that the Assembly should reconvene at noon on Tuesday 16 July to debate the motion, and agreed the Order Paper.

2.3 The Speaker advised that one Amendment to the motion had been accepted, and that there would be no Ministerial response. Members agreed that 2 hours would be allocated to the debate, with the usual speaking times.

2.4 The Speaker reminded Whips that considerable time is spent on the consideration of tabled amendments, and that during the debate Members should not try to discuss amendments that have not been selected.

3. Request to exchange Question Time slots

3.1 The Speaker advised Members that he had received correspondence from the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister requesting an exchange of their Question Time slot on Monday 16 September with the Minister of Finance and Personnel on Monday 23 September, taking the first Question Time slot on that day.

3.2 Members approved the request, and noted that a revised Oral Questions Rota would be issued.

4. Any other business

4.1 Whips agreed that, should there be a further recall of the Assembly during summer recess, draft Order Papers will issue to Members and party support staff by email only.

The Speaker brought the meeting to a close at 10.06am.
