All Party Group on Suicide Prevention
A meeting of the All Party Group on Suicide Prevention has been arranged to take place on Monday 19th September at 12.00pm in room 274.
For this first meeting of the APG on Suicide Prevention in the new mandate the agenda will cover as follows:
1. The drive to Zero Suicide commencing with the people in our care at the health and justice interface.
2. Unhindered continuity of care at crisis point by Memorandum of Understanding between all crisis services, critical to Zero Suicide.
3. Legislation to ensure duty of candour/statutory duty to cooperate across all crisis provision.
4. No wrong door for people in crisis, direct service referral and safety planning, inclusive of family engagement, for every person at risk of suicide.
