‘INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PEOPLE 2015’

To mark International Day of Older People 2015 the Speaker is chairing a debate on Thursday 1 October 2015 at 11.00am in the Assembly Chamber, Parliament Buildings.

Members of the Age Sector Platform and the Northern Ireland Youth Forum will debate the following motion:

“That this House believes the skills and experience of older people can be transferred to the younger generation; and calls on older and younger people to value and respect the contribution each can make to society”.

The Speaker would be delighted if Members could spare a few minutes from their busy schedule to support the debate and encourage our older and younger generation.

All Members are welcome to attend.

Please RSVP to the Speaker’s Office no later than Tuesday 29th September by emailing speaker@niasssembly.gov.uk or by telephone on (028) 90521862
