Tours of Parliament Buildings

To learn more about the history, architecture and day to day business of Parliament Buildings, why not join us on a guided tour? During the tour you can learn about the history of the building, and interesting facts, for example did you know the building is exactly 365 feet wide, representing a foot for each day of the year?

There are several ways you can visit Parliament Buildings. We are open to the public between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, when you can see first-hand the building and beautiful surroundings of the Stormont Estate.

While the Assembly is in session open public tours are available Monday – Friday at 10am and 3pm. Tours outside this time must be by invitation of a Member or Officer of the Assembly. Tours are not available on Bank Holidays or during Christmas recess. You can find contact details of all our Members at this page.

All our tours are free.

As well as taking part in a tour, while the Assembly is in session, you can come watch MLAs debate the big issues of the day in the Assembly Chamber on Mondays from Noon and Tuesdays from 10.30am. You can also come along and watch our Committees in action. For more details about Assembly Committees and their work click here.

If you cannot make it to Parliament Buildings, we have created a virtual tour which you can watch here.
