Andrew McCracken

Andrew McCracken is the Chief Executive of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland. 

The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland is now into its fourth decade of delivering social change and supporting voluntary and community action with intelligent giving.

The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland has spent the last four decades delivering innovative, challenging and impactful community development programmes - helping communities across Northern Ireland work to better their every day lives.

The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland is Northern Ireland's centre for philanthropy, with advice and services available for those people, whether they be financial advisors, institutions, charities or individuals, looking to invest funds in a philanthropic and tax-efficient way.

Andrew McCracken was previously the UK Director for the international relief and development agency Tearfund, with particular responsibilities for fundraising and communications. Originally a physics graduate, he has worked in youth work, volunteer management, HR, management consultancy, and latterly with Tearfund in a number of senior management roles.
